Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented person for assembly of laboratory mechanical and electrical products. We are a small company that has a line of laboratory and field equipment used in geological studies. This is not a mass production environment. Each product is made to order and assembled one at a time from start to completion and you may be working on a different product each day. The work involves assembly of mechanical components using hand tools, hand wiring and some board soldering. Person will be trained in assembly of each product and instruction books have been written to aid in this. We do not have prior job experience requirements per se, but this position is ideal for someone with prior personal experience using hand tools, electrical wiring and some mechanical intuition. This is a position for someone that enjoys working with tools and the variety of tasks involved. For a full time applicant, we offer health insurance, paid vacation and Simple IRA with matching. We would prefer this be a full time position but will consider part time applicants. We cannot offer health benefits for part time.
