Position Summary The Wiring Assembly Technician is responsible for wiring, assembling, fitting, and mounting electrical components and subassemblies used in switchgear, switchboards, control panels, and related power distribution equipment. This position plays a key role in ensuring products meet safety, quality, and performance standards. Responsibilities Wire and assemble electrical control panels, switchgear, switchboards, and transfer switches. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and manufacturing drawings. Install and terminate wires, relays, breakers, PLCs, and other electrical components. Perform mechanical assembly and mounting of electrical equipment. Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Troubleshoot wiring issues and make corrections as needed. Maintain production schedules and communicate material shortages or production concerns. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and quality teams. QualificationsRequired 1+ years of electrical assembly, panel building, wiring, or related manufacturing experience. Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and electrical schematics. Experience with hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Preferred Experience wiring industrial control panels, switchgear, switchboards, or PLC systems. Electrical certification, trade school training, or equivalent experience. Lean manufacturing or production environment experience.
