ElectronicAssembler Job Purpose:
Mechanical Assembly of final system builds, including installing circuit cards into systems.
Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:
Assemble products or sub-assemblies following verbal or written instructions, drawings, or diagrams. Perform hand soldering of components and cables to PCBA. Conduct touch-up, repair, and rework. Utilize power screwdrivers and other hand tools such as Torque Screwdrivers, Wire Strippers, Solder Stations, Pliers, and Wrenches. Read and interpret procedures and documentation. Lift and move boxes within the production area.
Education and Experience:
Minimum of 2-4 yearsof assembly experience in a manufacturing environment. High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to read and understand Sanmina's assembly instructions and process documents. Must be able to operate hand tools, power tools, or production equipment. Must have experience working in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lift 25 lbs or more several times a day. Must be available to work overtime as needed. This is an ITAR facility and applicants must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident. Sanmina is an Equal Opportunity Employer
