Job Description

division is currently seeking a PCB Technician - 2nd shift at the Oakleys Ct site in Richmond, VA. The pay rate for this position is $25.96 +$2 shift differential per hour. This site is currently offering a $2,000 sign-on bonus for eligible new hires. Core hours are 3:30pm-12:00am Why work at Eaton?- Health benefits and vacation time

In this function you will:
- Receive & count all Printed Circuit Boards (PCB)
- Place PCBs in correct locations and file the appropriate paperwork
- Ensure PCB inventory accuracy by making necessary inventory transactions in the system to and from proper locations
- Provide production with the necessary PCBs needed for each job
- Provide Service Department with spare parts or replacement boards
- Participate in cycle counting activities
- Troubleshoot bad PCBs
- Program & test all PCBs
- Test software and approve new versions of same
- Keep the Board Room clean and organized
- Comply with Company health, safety and environmental policies ##
Qualifications:
Required (Basic)Qualifications:
- Minimum Associates Degree in Electronics (2-year degree) or related discipline
- Minimum 1 year experience developing knowledge of electronics, circuit boards, soldering experience, and organization skills
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without out company sponsorship, now or in the future
- No relocation is being offered for this role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completed welding, brazing, or soldering certificate
- Experience in manufacturing, production, packaging or construction, or equivalent education
- Previous experience with standard operating procedures
- Previous experience with electrical product assembly, maintenance and/or repair
- Basic working knowledge and experience with computers ##
Skills:
Position Criteria:
- Physical count of inventory
- Must be able to manage inventory by computer access
- Deal with complex boards and software to properly complete an order
- Ability to follow directions and to work independently and in a team
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
- Individual may be required lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position
- Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime when needed All positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
