Job Description
The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling, testing, and packaging transmitter units that contain multiple electronic modules. This role involves working in a fast-paced production environment while following strict quality standards, ESD safety requirements, and detailed work instructions.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble transmitter units according to drawings and work instructions Operate laser engraving equipment for product marking Perform functional and Hi-Pot testing to ensure quality and compliance Package and label finished products Restock materials and maintain inventory organization Follow ESD handling procedures and safety policies Maintain productivity and quality in a high-paced environment Rotate between workstations to support production flow Report quality issues, material shortages, or equipment problems Keep work area clean and organized (support 6S/Lean practices) Communicate effectively with team members and support departments Stand for extended periods during shiftsQualifications:
Ability to read mechanical drawings and assembly instructions Experience with electro-mechanical assembly (preferred) Basic knowledge of ESD handling practices Familiarity with computer systems and manufacturing tools Strong time management and ability to prioritize work orders Ability to work independently and as part of a team 1st shift- 5:30 am start time 8 hour shift Monday
