Job Description
Electro-Mechanical Assembler II | $25Hr | 1st Shift | Carlsbad, CA Job Description The Assembler is responsible for building electronic and electro-mechanical products and sub-assemblies using mechanical components, wiring, and hand tools in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role follows work instructions and quality standards to ensure accurate and efficient production. Schedule 1st
Shift:
Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM Overtime as needed Key Responsibilities Assemble electronic and mechanical products using hand and power tools. Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and SOPs. Inspect products to ensure quality and accuracy. Support Kanban processes, audits, and inventory transactions. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following 6S standards. Report quality or safety concerns and participate in continuous improvement activities. Work across multiple production stations as needed. Required Qualifications 5+ years of mechanical assembly experience in manufacturing. Experience with electronic/electro-mechanical assembly and wiring. Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation. Proficiency with hand and power tools. Strong attention to detail and quality. Basic computer skills and ability to lift 25+ lbs. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Kanban systems and Lean/6S environments. Knowledge of quality processes and manufacturing documentation. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Work Environment Clean, modern manufacturing facility. Standing, assembly-line work using mechanical and electronic components. Safety-focused environment with provided PPE and employee lockers. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Carlsbad, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
