Our client is a well-established, global manufacturer with nearly a century of experience designing and building high-efficiency industrial steam and boiler systems. In this hands-on Welder position, you'll play an important role in fabricating and assembling complex industrial equipment. You'll work from blueprints and engineering drawings to perform precision MIG and TIG welding on pipe, sheet metal, and structural components, including stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced welder who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and wants to work on meaningful industrial equipment rather than repetitive production welds. / Vision Benefits Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Basic & Voluntary Life Insurance AD&D and Long-Term Disability Insurance Options 401(k) with Employer Match Key Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, schematics, and welding specifications Perform MIG and TIG welding on pipe, tubing, sheet metal, and structural components Perform welding in horizontal, vertical, and 6G positions Weld and fabricate stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, and thick steel pipe Position, align, fit, clamp, tack, and weld components according to specifications Cut, grind, shape, and prepare metal for welding and assembly Inspect completed welds for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications Use tape measures, calipers, gauges, and other measuring equipment to verify finished products Identify and correct welding defects or fabrication issues Perform routine checks and maintenance on welding equipment Assist with mechanical assembly, plumbing, electrical wiring, painting, and product preparation as needed Required Qualifications Valid 6G Welder Certification - ASME Code welding required 5+ years of MIG/TIG welding and fabrication experience Strong experience with pipe and sheet metal welding Experience welding stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum Thick steel pipe welding experience required Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding specifications Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail 5+ years of experience with fabrication shop equipment preferred Ability to safely use welding machinery, grinders, cutting equipment, hand tools, and related shop equipment Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
