Job Summary Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Electrical/Mechanical Technician to support the build of developmental prototype and non-flight production electronic and mechanical systems for spacecraft programs. In this role, you will work on complex, nonstandard assemblies using engineering schematics, maintain critical quality standards, and directly contribute to cutting-edge aerospace projects. Key Responsibilities

Complex Assembly:

Perform nonstandard, complex production assembly on developmental prototype and non-flight production electronic and mechanical systems and subsystems.

Technical Execution:

Work directly from engineering diagrams, schematics, drawings, and wiring lists using various hand and power tools.

Rework & Testing:

Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test electro-mechanical assemblies as required.

Quality & Compliance:

Read, understand, and strictly adhere to documented work instructions, procedures, Company policies, and

ISO 9001

directives.

Documentation & Certifications:

Accurately complete all job-related documentation per work instructions, and obtain/maintain required NASA certifications.

Process Improvement:

Continuously monitor assembly workflows to identify and suggest process improvements.

Flexibility:

Willingness to work occasional overtime during critical program periods. Required Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of relevant electro-mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience.

Technical Literacy:

Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

Tool Proficiency:

Demonstrated hands-on experience using precision hand and power tools in an electro-mechanical environment.

Core Skills:

Exceptional attention to detail, strong discipline in following strict quality/safety procedures, and good communication skills. Preferred Qualifications

• Active NASA certifications (e.

g., IPC/WHMA-A-620, J-STD-001, or

NASA-STD-8739

series).

• Prior experience working on aerospace, aviation, or defense programs.
• Background working in ISO 9001 or AS9100 certified manufacturing environments. Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs as needed.
