•$37.40 per hour This is a mid-level, production-ready position and is not an entry-level or learn-on-the-job training role . We are seeking candidates who are plug-and-play ready with legit, proven hands-on experience working with complex mechanical assemblies, flight hardware, or high-precision mechanical systems from day one. Job Description We are seeking highly motivated and skilled Mechanical Integration Technicians to join our team in Palo Alto, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for integrating flight components and mechanical assemblies for communications satellites and ground support equipment using specialized tools, engineering drawings, and cleanroom procedures.

Available Shifts:

Weekday Swing Shift Weekend Day Shift (4x10): 4:00 AM

•2:30 PM Graveyard Shift (4x10): 7:30 PM

•6:00 AM Weekend Swing Shift (4x10)

Key Responsibilities:

Perform mechanical assembly and testing of communications satellites and ground support equipment. Assemble and install active and passive flight components per engineering drawings, specifications, and procedures (structural parts/assemblies, RF waveguides, electronic boxes, coax cables, harnesses, antennas, and thermal blankets). Operate cranes, man-lifts, tugs , and spacecraft handling equipment in a cleanroom environment . Work at elevated heights on ladders and platforms up to 18 feet, and within confined spaces such as spacecraft interiors, thermal vacuum chambers, and acoustic chambers. Maintain complete and accurate documentation including ASIs, rework shop orders, component installation logs, mate/demate logs, and task logs. Setup and support specialized test equipment .

Requirements:

Work Authorization:

Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident (Must pass a clean background check).

Education:

Minimum High School Diploma or GED (Must provide physical proof/diploma upon hire). A&P License, trade school degree, or BS preferred.

Experience:

2 to 5 years of related mechanical, aerospace, satellite, or military aviation maintenance experience preferred .

Technical Skills:

Ability to read and interpret complex engineering assembly drawings, blueprints, and shop procedures .

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work comfortably at heights or in confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience:

2 to 5 years of related experience in aerospace, satellite integration, or military aviation maintenance.

Military Background:

Previous U.S. Military experience (Air Force, Navy, Marines, Army) in aircraft or mechanical systems maintenance.

Education/Certifications:

FAA A&P License, an Associate/Trade School degree in a mechanical field, or a BS in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering.
