Diversified Machine Systems is a privately held corporation with headquarters located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. We are an industry-leading designer and American manufacturer of 3-axis and 5-axis CNC Routers and machine solutions. We supply machines to a wide variety of manufacturing sectors including aerospace, automotive, marine, recreational vehicles, 3D sculpture, concept models, pattern making, formed plastic and woodworking among others. Primary Responsibilities:
This position is primarily responsible for assembling products in an efficient manner to maximize production. Performs mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies using hand tools and electronic and pneumatic tooling. Aligns and calibrates using a laser, dial indicator, etc. Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations. Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision. All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School diploma; two years or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to effectively communicate with manager and staff both verbally and in writing. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds regularly, lift and move 25 pounds frequently and occasionally lift and move up to 50 lbs. Must be able to stoop and kneel for frequent periods of time. Must be able to stand to operate machinery.
