Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Occasional Saturdays as needed Position Summary We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our growing manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting vacuum pump systems in a clean, temperature-controlled environment. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with hand tools, interpreting technical drawings, and building high-quality mechanical systems. Key Responsibilities Assemble vacuum pump systems at floor and abatement stations Test and calibrate components to ensure compliance with tight tolerances and specifications Utilize hand and power tools to complete mechanical assemblies Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy Diagnose issues, troubleshoot, and repair units that do not meet standards Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED 2-5 years of mechanical assembly or related experience Ability to pass a mechanical aptitude assessment Strong verbal and written communication skills Basic math proficiency Preferred Qualifications Experience reading blueprints and schematics Background in plumbing, pipe fitting, or mechanical assembly Familiarity with drilling, tapping, wiring, pipe bending, or cable assembly Completion of apprenticeship or formal technical training ASE certification (preferred but not required) Why Join Our Team? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Colorado Springs, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
