Mechanical Assemblers

Automation Assembly Technician responsible for building, debugging, and supporting automated equipment using mechanical assembly, pneumatics, motion systems, and technical drawings. Job Requirements Experience with mechanical assembly of automation equipment from prints Experience assembling components such as linear rails, gearboxes, and precision-aligned mechanical systems Experience installing and troubleshooting pneumatic components including air cylinders, valves, and regulators Experience diagnosing mechanical and controls issues during machine build and debug Familiarity with servo motors, drives, and automated motion control systems Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics Experience using multimeters, precision measurement tools, and mechanical hand tools Experience using calipers, micrometers, levels, and machinist squares Experience in general assembly within equipment build or machine build environments Ability to troubleshoot issues logically during assembly and debug Assembly line production experience alone is not sufficient Preferred Skills Experience with both mechanical and electrical machine build work Experience wiring machines and control panels using electrical schematics Experience wiring motors, sensors, and safety circuits Experience with industrial robots or automated cells Experience supporting machine startup, troubleshooting, and build correction activities Job Responsibilities Build automation equipment from prints and assembly documentation Assemble and align mechanical systems including linear rails, gearboxes, and precision components Install and troubleshoot pneumatic systems including cylinders, valves, and regulators Diagnose and resolve mechanical and controls issues during machine build Support motion system installation and troubleshooting, including servo motors, drives, and automated motion control components Read and follow mechanical drawings and electrical diagrams throughout the build process Use multimeters, precision measurement tools, and mechanical tools to verify fit, alignment, and functionality Perform general machine assembly and debug tasks in a custom equipment environment Support electrical wiring activities for machines and control panels when needed Assist with troubleshooting of motors, sensors, and safety circuits Support builds involving robotic or automated cell equipment when applicable
