We are seeking an experienced Channel Letter Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for fabricating illuminated and non-illuminated channel letters and related sign components from start to finish. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in sign manufacturing and takes pride in producing clean, accurate, high-quality work. Position Summary The Channel Letter Fabricator will fabricate custom channel letters and other dimensional signage according to approved drawings, specifications, and production requirements. This is a hands-on manufacturing position requiring the ability to read shop drawings, operate fabrication equipment, work with aluminum and other sign materials, and perform detailed assembly and finishing work. Key Responsibilities Fabricate aluminum channel letters and dimensional signage from production drawings and specifications. Read and interpret shop drawings, dimensions, layouts, and fabrication details. Form, bend, cut, trim, and assemble aluminum and other sign materials. Operate sign manufacturing equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently. Perform channel letter bending, trimming, and assembly. Complete preparation for LED illumination, including proper installation and routing of LED modules and wiring. Assemble backs, returns, faces, trim caps, and other channel letter components. Perform drilling, fastening, bonding, and other fabrication processes as required. Assist with wiring and electrical component installation as appropriate for the position and training. Inspect completed work for accuracy, quality, appearance, and proper construction. Identify fabrication issues and communicate problems to the appropriate supervisor before proceeding. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow company safety procedures and PPE requirements. Work as part of the manufacturing team to meet production schedules and customer deadlines. Perform other fabrication and production duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in sign manufacturing or channel letter fabrication is strongly preferred . Experience fabricating channel letters, dimensional letters, or illuminated signage. Ability to read and understand shop drawings and fabrication specifications. Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail. Ability to accurately measure and work with dimensions and layouts. Experience using hand tools and fabrication equipment. Ability to troubleshoot fabrication issues and find practical solutions. Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team. Strong work ethic and dependable attendance. Commitment to producing quality work and meeting production deadlines. Preferred Experience Experience with any of the following is a plus: Channel letter fabrication Aluminum fabrication Trim cap installation Letter bending equipment LED channel letter illumination Sign cabinet fabrication Welding Metalworking CNC equipment Brake/shear operation Sign electrical assembly Vinyl and sign finishing Physical Requirements This is a hands-on manufacturing position.
