Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and systems with precision and efficiency, ensuring that all products meet quality standards and specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to innovative manufacturing processes while developing valuable skills in assembly and instrumentation. Monday-Friday 7:30-4pm

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble mechanical parts and components using hand tools, power tools, and specialized industrial tools Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly Measure parts with precision using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments Use shop math skills to calculate dimensions, tolerances, and assembly requirements Operate pneumatic tools and perform soldering tasks as needed for assembly processes Follow safety protocols by properly using personal protective equipment (PPE) and handling tools safely Conduct quality checks utilizing precision measuring instruments to verify assembled components Interpret production documents and manufacturing instructions to maintain workflow accuracy Collaborate with team members in a warehouse environment to ensure timely completion of tasks Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to safety standards Qualifications Proven experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing environments preferred Strong understanding of mechanical blueprint interpretation and schematic reading Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments Familiarity with shop math, technical drawings, and production document interpretation Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and soldering equipment safely Knowledge of machining processes and the use of specialized industrial tools Experience working with warehouse or inventory management systems is a plus Excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and follow detailed instructions Commitment to safety practices including PPE use and manual handling procedures This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills in mechanical assembly within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
