Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Wire Machine Operator and Harness Assembler, where your expertise will drive the production of high-quality electrical harnesses and wire assemblies. You will be instrumental in ensuring precise assembly, wiring, and testing of electrical systems, supporting our commitment to excellence and reliability in manufacturing. Duties Operate wire cutting, stripping, crimping, and termination machines to produce consistent and accurate wire harnesses. Assemble electrical harnesses and panels following detailed blueprints, schematics, and IPC 610 standards for quality assurance. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and engineering drawings to ensure correct wiring configurations. Use hand tools such as calipers, ohmmeters, soldering irons, power tools, and surface mount technology equipment to assemble and troubleshoot components. Build electrical panels by wiring components according to electrical schematics and blueprint specifications while adhering to safety protocols. Conduct testing of assembled harnesses using multimeters or ohmmeters to verify electrical continuity and performance. Troubleshoot electro-mechanical components during assembly or testing phases by applying engineering troubleshooting techniques. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with IPC 610 standards for electronics assembly. Experience Proven experience in electronics assembly, electrical wiring, or harness fabrication within a manufacturing environment. Skilled in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for accurate assembly. Proficient with hand tools such as calipers, soldering equipment, power tools, and testing instruments like ohmmeters. Experience working with electro-mechanical components in a fast-paced production setting is advantageous. Ability to follow blueprint specifications meticulously while maintaining high-quality standards in accordance with IPC 610 guidelines.
