Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Savage MN. If you are mechanically inclined, like to work with your hands, we will train you! The Assembler 1 performs manual labor along a production line. The Assembler produces components by assembling fabricated parts and subassemblies. Duties include assembly of components, sub-assemblies and examining items as they are produced. Additionally, the Assembler operates and troubleshoots production line machinery. Works under immediate supervision. The Shift Time 6:00AM-2:30PM Mon-Fri. Responsibilities Assemble mechanical parts and systems according to production documents. Use hand tools, power tools to complete assemblies efficiently and accurately. Measure components with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances. Conduct quality checks using shop math and measuring instruments to ensure assemblies meet specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to personal protective equipment (PPE) use and safety standards. Experience Proven experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing environments is preferred. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools. Ability to stand for 8 hours each day and lift up to 40lbs. General labor or construction background is a plus! Ability to interpret technical drawings and mechanical blueprints accurately. Basic shop math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations related to assembly tasks. Knowledge of safety procedures related to the use of PPE and specialized industrial tools in a manufacturing setting.
