This position is responsible for assembling mechanical and electro-mechanical products using engineering drawings, work instructions, bills of materials (BOMs), and standard assembly techniques. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, quality-focused, and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where no two days are the same. Key Responsibilities Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical products according to work instructions, engineering drawings, and specifications. Install hardware including screws, standoffs, rivets, inserts, brackets, cable clamps, and other mechanical components. Perform box-build assemblies, chassis assemblies, and final product integration. Route and secure wire harnesses and cables to meet workmanship standards. Use hand tools, power tools, torque drivers, and other assembly equipment safely and effectively. Verify materials and components against Bills of Materials (BOMs) prior to assembly. Perform visual inspections throughout the assembly process to ensure workmanship meets company and IPC quality standards. Identify and report material shortages, drawing discrepancies, and quality concerns. Complete required production documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain organized workstations while following 5S and ESD requirements. Assist with product rework, repairs, and engineering prototype builds as needed. Cross-train in other manufacturing operations to support production demands. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or production experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and work instructions. Comfortable using common hand and power tools. Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds. Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday. Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills for production documentation. Why PICA?
