Job Description Job Description Our Auburn Pump and Motor Repair Shop is looking for a skilled Motor Winder to join the team. The Motor Winder's main responsibility is to assemble, repair, and maintain electric motors both in the shop and in the field. This is a full-time, on-site position. Monday - Friday. 7 AM - 3:30 PM.Motor Winder Responsibilities :
Assemble, repair, and maintain electric motors. Test and rewind electric motor and generator stators, armatures, or rotors. Inspect equipment and parts for damage, diagnose possible reason(s) for failure. Provide information on parts/work required. Provide recommendations to improve reliability of equipment. Observe and adhere to Power-Flo Technologies safety procedures. Maintain Power-Flo Technologies quality standards.Motor Winder Qualifications and Skills :
Experience specifically in winding AC/DC electric motor stators. Familiar with various hand tools. Familiar with power tools such as impact guns, cut off wheels, and drills. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and in a team setting. Basic computer skills. Must be able to regularly lift and/or move more than 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move more than 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Must have a valid and clean driver's license to operate company vehicles.Motor Winder Physical Requirements :
Ability to stand for up to 8 Hours. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Ability to work on elevated platforms. Ability to climb ladders. This position may require standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching and/or reaching. You may be exposed to dust, loud noises, and hot and cold conditions. Good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills may be required for hand tools, power tools, and other machinery. Salary Range between $17 - $32 per hour based on experience.
