We're growing and adding a hands-on Welder who thrives on tricky setups, tight tolerances, and clean, repeatable work. TIG weld aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel, & cast iron—including purge welding for stainless. MIG weld aluminum, stainless steel, & carbon steel; Flux-Core (FCAW) on steel and stainless. weld symbols and GD&T on engineering drawings. Set up and use welding fixtures, positioners, and turn tables to achieve consistent, repeatable results. Use oxy-fuel torches and plasma cutting equipment; apply proper pre-heat and temperature control. Conduct pressure & leak testing and dye penetrant (PT) inspections ; document results to shop standards. Work closely with machinists, quality, and engineering to resolve fit-up and distortion, and to meet dimensional requirements. Maintain a clean, organized weld area; follow all safety, PPE, and 5S practices. Operate other equipment and assigned duties as needed Required Skills & Abilities 8+ years of professional welding experience in a job-shop or fabrication environment (or equivalent skill). Proficient with TIG (Al, SS, steel, cast iron) and MIG (Al, SS, steel); Flux-Core on steel & stainless. Able to read AWS/ISO weld symbols and GD&T drawings without supervision. Demonstrated experience with rigging & lifting , overhead cranes , and forklifts/tow motors . Hands-on experience with purge welding , fixtures/positioners/turn tables , torches, and plasma cutting. Working knowledge of pre-heating , pressure/leak testing , and dye penetrant testing . comply with operations and quality requirement processes perform routine preventative maintenance duties able to read and interpret drawings high attention to detail follow safety procedures adaptable & flexible organized and dependable able to work first shift and overtime up to 50 hours when needed able to stand for long periods of time, and lift up to 30 pounds Why Join N.E.T. & Die?
