Mechanical Assembler

Mechanical Assembler Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembler to join our team. We seek candidates who are mechanically-inclined and have experience with assembly work. This job will require the use of hand/power tools to assemble industrial equipment components.

Available Shift:

6:00 AM•4:30 PM (M•TH)

Other Shift Options Include:

4:00 AM•2:30 PM (M-TH) 5:00 AM•3:30 PM (M-TH)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assemble mechanical parts, pieces or products using a variety of hand, power tools or equipment. Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions. Complete mechanical assemblies independently or as part of a team Safely operates any equipment needed to perform job within the assembly. Utilize production job schedules, and confer with supervisors/leads, to determine work priorities. Refer to engineering documentation such as CAD drawings and manufacturing procedures. Record production data such labor time and quantities using ERP system. Inform supervisors /leads of equipment malfunctions that need to be addressed. Clean and maintain equipment, machinery, and work stations on a daily basis. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Certifications:

High school education or equivalent and one year related assembly experience. Works with limited supervision to assemble units of moderate complexity. Must be able to identify and select components to be integrated into assembly units.
