Pay:

$20-22/hr (based on experience)

Shift:

6am-230pm (day shift) Responsibilities Assemble large mechanical structures and frames from extruded aluminum components, such as conveyor line frames, at multiple workstations in the mechanical assembly area. Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine correct layout, orientation, and assembly sequence of parts. Measure and mark components using metric measurements to ensure accurate fit and alignment. Use basic hand tools, including screwdrivers and Allen keys, as well as hand and power tools, to fasten and secure parts according to specifications. Lay out, position, and align larger parts prior to assembly, ensuring all components are square, level, and properly supported. Verify dimensions and tolerances using tape measures and other measuring tools to confirm assemblies meet design requirements. Inspect completed structures for quality, ensuring all fasteners are secure, components are properly installed, and assemblies meet company standards. Follow written and verbal instructions, work orders, and production schedules to complete assemblies on time. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including proper handling and storage of tools, materials, and components. Essential Skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints or mechanical drawings accurately. Experience using hand and power tools safely in a production or shop environment. Ability to take accurate measurements using tape measures and other measuring tools in metric units. Capability to lift and maneuver parts and assemblies weighing up to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail to ensure assemblies are built correctly and to specification. Comfort working with extruded aluminum parts and similar structural components. Ability to work at multiple workstations within a mechanical assembly area as needed. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience assembling large frames, conveyor line structures, or similar industrial equipment. Familiarity with metric-based fabrication and assembly environments. Experience working in a production, manufacturing, or fabrication shop setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Montgomeryville, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
