Company Overview Taldeco is an Industrial Consultant specializing in Engineering, Skilled Trades, and Production services. We collaborate with manufacturers, OEMs, distributors, and integrators across Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, Indiana, and Kentucky to support all facets of their manufacturing facilities. Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Builder/Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing industrial machinery and equipment with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in mechanical and electrical systems will ensure the successful construction of high-quality machines that meet strict specifications and safety standards. Duties Interpret and follow detailed mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to assemble complex machinery. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to construct machine components accurately. Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to install electrical wiring and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Set up machining tools such as CNC machines and metal fabrication equipment for precise component manufacturing. Assemble pneumatic and hydraulic systems using measurement instruments like calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools. Conduct quality control measurements to ensure assembled components meet specified tolerances. Test completed assemblies for proper operation, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments or repairs. Requirements Proven experience interpreting mechanical blueprints, schematics, electrical diagrams, and production documents. Strong mechanical knowledge including metal machining, fabrication, welding, and assembly techniques. Familiarity with CNC programming, machining tool setup, and industrial equipment operation. Ability to read electrical schematics and wire electrical systems accurately. Skilled in using measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, measurement gauges, and other precision tools for quality control. Experience working with pneumatic systems, hydraulics, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), and electrical wiring is highly desirable. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication processes. Mechanical blueprint interpretation skills combined with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes. Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately while adhering to safety standards in a fast-paced environment. Pay:
$25.00 - $34.00 per hour Expected hours: 45.0 - 55.0 per week
