This position involves fabrication and assembly in a shop environment. We are looking for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with their hands. Key Responsibilities Fabrication Fabricate pump frames, tanks, brackets, and structural components Measure, cut, and prepare materials to specifications Communicate with the inventory control manager to reorder stock as needed Assembly Assemble components of joint fill pumps, including frames, tanks, pumps, hoses, fittings, electrical components, and sub-assemblies. Install and align pumps, motors, and related hardware Perform mechanical troubleshooting during assembly Conduct quality checks to ensure proper fit, alignment, and functionality Quality & Safety Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow OSHA and company safety standards Inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies Maintain tools and welding equipment in good working condition Qualifications Required Ability to read and interpret schematics Mechanical aptitude and experience with the assembly of industrial equipment Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a shop environment Strong attention to detail Proficient knowledge with hand tools Preferred Forklift certification Skills & Competencies Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Time management and efficiency Commitment to quality craftsmanship Work Environment Shop/manufacturing environment Exposure to welding fumes, noise, and heavy equipment Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required
