Job Description

Position Summary The Mechanical Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling wireless infrastructure equipment and related components in a production environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, good manual dexterity, and the ability to follow engineering drawings and assembly instructions to produce high-quality finished products. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with small mechanical and electrical components. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assemble electromechanical equipment and subassemblies used in wireless infrastructure systems. Follow assembly instructions, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and bills of material (BOM). Install and secure mechanical components including brackets, panels, fasteners, anchors, and mounting hardware. Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to complete assemblies. Identify and report defective components, missing materials, or assembly issues. Maintain a clean and organized work environment and follow safety procedures. Assist with packaging and preparation of finished equipment for shipment when needed. Required Skills and Qualifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Comfortable working with small components, hardware, and wiring. Ability to read and follow assembly instructions and technical drawings. Ability to use basic hand tools and small power tools. Ability to work in a team-oriented production environment. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Preferred Qualifications Previous electromechanical assembly or manufacturing experience. Experience assembling telecommunications or electronic equipment. Basic understanding of electrical components and connectors. Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally. Frequent use of hands for small-component assembly. Good visual acuity for detailed work.
Compensation and Benefits Hourly Pay:
$18 - $20 per hour (based on experience)
