Temp-to-Hire We are hiring a Receiving Inspector / Disassembly & Assembly Technician for a manufacturing facility in Cibolo, TX. This position is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with precision parts and measuring tools. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential to transition into a long-term position. What You'll Do Receive and inspect incoming manufactured parts, materials, hardware, and components. Perform visual and dimensional inspections. Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools to verify parts. Review parts for quality, workmanship, appearance, and conformity to specifications. Verify paperwork and documentation for accuracy and completeness. Count, label, package, and distribute incoming parts. Identify and document damaged, defective, or nonconforming materials. Disassemble multi-component mechanical assemblies before processing. Take photographs and document the disassembly process to assist with reassembly. Keep parts properly identified, organized, and accounted for throughout production. Reassemble components after processing using photos, notes, and available documentation. Check completed assemblies for proper form, fit, and function. Maintain tools, replacement components, and supplies. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all established safety, PPE, quality, and production procedures. What We're Looking For Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with your hands. High attention to detail. Ability to read basic drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Experience or familiarity with calipers, micrometers, gauges, or other precision measuring tools. Ability to accurately inspect, count, organize, and document parts. Basic Microsoft Office/computer skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous manufacturing, quality inspection, mechanical assembly, machining, automotive, aerospace, or similar hands-on experience is a plus. Physical & Additional Requirements Ability to lift 30-40 lbs. Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods. Good visual acuity; correctable vision to 20/20. Must be willing to complete required safety and job-specific training. Pre-employment drug testing required. Why Apply?
