We're looking to hire a talented Mechanical Assembler based in Denton, Texas. Reporting to the Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Mechanical Assembler is responsible for being the heartbeat of our production floor—assembling the mechanical core of the cutting-edge equipment that welders rely on every day. From power supplies and wire feeders to torches and gas systems, your job is to piece together the future of metalwork. Primary Duties Bring Blueprints toLife:
Translate technical drawings, exploded views, and mechanical diagrams into fully assembled equipment.Tool Up & Build:
Use hand tools, power tools, jigs, and torque wrenches to assemble housings, mounts, regulators, feed systems, and precision components. Fit. Align.Assemble:
Ensure components fit flawlessly- tight tolerances, clean finishes, and rugged reliability are your hallmarks. Troubleshoot withConfidence:
Spot misalignments, mechanical faults, or design quirks during assembly and work with engineering or QC to resolve them.Test Before Torch:
Run mechanical functionality checks, airflow tests, and component diagnostics before equipment moves to final testing or shipping. Qualifications High school degree or equivalent Mechanical assembly experience, preferably in heavy-duty equipment, industrial tools, or welding systems. Solid understanding of pneumatic and mechanical systems; hydraulic experience is a plus. Strong ability to interpret mechanical drawings, BOMs (Bills of Materials), and assembly instructions. Manual dexterity, mechanical intuition, and pride in precision. Comfort working with metal parts, sharp edges, and a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Working Conditions This position is based in a dynamic manufacturing facility , where safety, precision, and teamwork come first. You'll be working around industrial machinery , mechanical components, and occasionally near welding and cutting operations. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required at all times on the shop floor, including: Hi-visibility vest Safety glasses Steel-toed safety shoes The role involves standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs) throughout the day in a fast-paced environment. Exposure to noise, metal dust, and varying temperatures may occur depending on the area of the facility—don't worry, we've got strong safety protocols in place to keep you protected. You'll work closely with other assembly technicians, engineers, and quality inspectors in a collaborative, hands-on team setting. Occasional overtime may be required to meet production demands.
