Mechanical Assembler Location:
Redmond, WA Work schedule: 1st shift
Pay:
$22.80/hour Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to join our 1st Shift manufacturing team. In this role, you will perform routine manual assembly to build mechanical units, fabricated components, and electrical/electronic subassemblies. Working with hand tools, power tools, jigs, and fixtures, you will fit, align, and calibrate parts to ensure finished units meet strict quality specifications and operating standards. Key Responsibilities Assemble mechanical units, fabricated components, and basic electrical/electronic systems to create subassemblies or complete units. Use hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and specialized equipment to assemble, fit, align, and adjust parts. Calibrate and adjust components to ensure products meet precise tolerances and operational requirements. Perform basic troubleshooting and repair on units or assemblies that fail initial quality or operating checks. Follow detailed manufacturing instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety guidelines to ensure consistent product output. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace while meeting daily production targets.
Qualifications & Requirements Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Basic mechanical exposure or familiarity with tools is a plus.
Tool Handling:
Ability to safely use common hand tools, power tools, and basic assembly equipment.
Manual Dexterity & Precision:
Strong hand-eye coordination and spatial skills to align small parts, mechanical fittings, and electrical components.
Instruction Following:
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, detailed assembly rules, and standard operating procedures.
Work Style:
Reliable, punctual, and comfortable performing routine, hands-on tasks in a team environment. #
EXT Pay:
$22.80 per hour
