Overview Mechanical Assemblers - Levels 1-3 We are hiring full-time Mechanical Assemblers with experience ranging from entry level to highly experienced. Candidates will be considered for the appropriate level based on their skills and relevant assembly experience. Experience Levels Assembler Level 1: 0-2 years of experience. Entry-level candidates with mechanical aptitude, relevant training, or transferable manufacturing experience are encouraged to apply. Assembler Level 2: 3-5 years of related mechanical or industrial assembly experience. Assembler Level 3: 6-9 years of advanced assembly experience. Must be able to perform duties independently with minimal supervision. Position Summary The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling large mechanical and industrial mixing equipment, along with related components and accessory equipment. Essential Responsibilities Receive and review instructions, blueprints, and work orders. Interpret engineering drawings and determine appropriate assembly procedures. Obtain the materials, tools, and equipment required for each assignment. Fit and assemble parts and subassemblies to produce industrial equipment. Assemble component parts into frames, discharge gates, mixing tools, and rotating equipment. Install and align hydraulic controls, fittings, and hoses. Use electric motors, power tools, and hand tools to operate, function-test, and inspect completed units and assemblies. Identify and report defects involving materials, tools, equipment, or finished products. Inspect completed work and remain accountable for individual quality and workmanship. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all established safety practices and procedures. Work overtime when required based on production needs. Qualifications Assembly experience ranging from 0-9 years , depending on the position level. Strong mechanicalMechanic aptitude and willingness to learn. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, diagrams, and schedules. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Flexibility to assist across departments and take on new assignments. Ability to work independently based on the requirements of the assigned level. Previous manufacturing, mechanical, industrial, automotive, construction, or equipment assembly experience is preferred but not required for Level 1. Physical Requirements Frequently lift and move approximately 10-25 pounds. Occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds. Continually use hands, arms, and legs throughout the shift. Perform physical activities including standing, walking, climbing, lifting, balancing, bending, stooping, and handling materials.
