11:30 PM-7:30 AM | $15.00/hour Position Overview Mountaineer Employment Solutions is seeking reliable, safety-focused Assemblers and Machine Operators to join a fast-paced manufacturing and production environment in Clarksburg, West Virginia. These positions are responsible for supporting daily production operations through product assembly, machine operation, packaging, inspection, quality control, and general manufacturing duties. Responsibilities may vary depending on position, department, production needs, and equipment assignment. Ideal candidates are dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment, and committed to maintaining quality, productivity, attendance, and workplace safety standards. Key Responsibilities Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality for all scheduled shifts. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and training requirements. Participate in required safety, workstation, production, and new-hire training. Assemble, inspect, pack, label, and prepare products according to production specifications. Gather and assemble product components while meeting established production and efficiency goals. Verify that correct materials, components, packaging, labels, and quantities are being used. Inspect finished products and packaging for defects, damage, or quality concerns. Remove defective products from production and promptly report quality concerns to supervision or Quality Control. Operate assigned manufacturing machinery and production equipment after receiving appropriate training. Perform machine startup, shutdown, adjustments, basic troubleshooting, and routine operational checks as required. Load raw materials and replenish machine or packaging supplies as needed. Monitor machinery and automated equipment to identify errors, malfunctions, jams, or other production issues. Immediately report equipment or machine problems to the appropriate supervisor. Safely use approved hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and other production equipment as required. Follow established procedures when handling materials and operating equipment. Assist with rework, inspections, packaging, material handling, and other production tasks as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation. Keep aisles, walkways, and work areas clear of debris and potential safety hazards. Work cooperatively with Assemblers, Machine Operators, Material Handlers, supervisors, and other production team members. Meet established production, quality, efficiency, and safety expectations. Complete additional duties as assigned based on production needs. Required Skills & Qualifications Ability to work safely and efficiently in a manufacturing or production environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately and efficiently. Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions, production requirements, safety procedures, and basic operating guidelines. Ability to learn the operation and basic functions of manufacturing equipment. Ability to use basic hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices as required by the position. Dependable and able to maintain consistent attendance and punctuality. Ability to work independently and as part of a production team. Willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and job responsibilities. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods, potentially for the duration of the scheduled shift. Frequent reaching, bending, grasping, pushing, pulling, and repetitive hand and arm movements. Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 30 pounds . Fine finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination for assembling components, handling materials, and operating machinery. Ability to safely perform repetitive production tasks throughout the workday. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around machinery, equipment, and production activity. Work Environment This position operates in a manufacturing and production facility. Employees may work around moving machinery, automated equipment, production materials, and varying noise levels. Employees are expected to follow all required safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment when applicable.
