Tape and Reel Operator Job Description:

PrideStaff is working with a local manufacturer who is seeking a Tape and Reel Operator to join their growing team. The Tape and Reel Operator will use tape-and-reel equipment to prepare electronic components for production. The ideal Tape and Reel Operator candidate is detail-oriented, has strong manual dexterity, and can read and understand work instructions, customer requirements, and quality standards. The Tape and Reel Operator is a full-time, temp-to-hire position in Camarillo, CA.

Tape and Reel Operator Job Responsibilities:

Packaging Electronic Components According to Required Specifications by Setting up & Operating Tape & Reel Equipment Select Appropriate Tape, Carrier, Cover Tape & Reel Sizes Verify Part Numbers, Quantities, Orientation & Packaging Requirements Ensure Quality & Accuracy by Inspecting Components & Completed Reels Maintain Lot/Date-Code Traceability, Labeling & Accurate Component Identification Read, Understand & Follow Travelers, Work Instructions, Drawings and Customer Requirements Maintain ESD Controls & Proper Handling Procedures for Electronic Components Complete Required Documentation Accurately and on time Report any Discrepancies, Damaged Components, or Quality Concerns to Supervisor or Quality Personnel Keep Work Area Clean & Organized Other Duties as Assigned Follow all

PPE & Safety Requirements Tape and Reel Operator Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required Previous Electronics Manufacturing, Tape & Reel, or Similar Production Experience is Preferred Must be able to Read & Follow Written Work Instructions & Production Documentation Must have Strong Attention to Detail & be able to work with Small Electronic Components Ability to Work Independently while Maintaining Productivity & Quality Standards Basic Computer Skills are Preferred Must be a Self-Starter & be Able to Work Independently Comfortable Working in an ESD (Electrostatic Discharge)
