  • The Wireman will be responsible for wiring of control panels from start to finish in a timely manner and are able to meet the demands of the production schedule.
This includes independently completing a parts inventory, the layout of the enclosure and completely wiring the project from start to finish. Occasionally the wiremen may need to assist in the fabrication of the parts needed for their enclosures. Each wireman will be responsible for multiple projects weekly and will need to remain flexible as to their work assignments daily. The wiremen will need to have the ability to read and comprehend drawings and wire schematics in order to successfully complete their assigned projects. Each wireman is also responsible for maintaining a clean work environment, ensuring they track their production time for the week and log it in the company database daily.
Job Duties:
  • Capable of recognizing problems and correcting them with minimal supervision.
  • Able to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings and translate as needed
  • Verify parts are complete and accurate according to the production drawings and (BOM) bill of materials.
  • Emulate top-notch craftsmanship in all aspects of the job.
  • Strive for ongoing self-improvement through additional training.
  • Ensure tasks are executed in the most effective manner in regard to time, cost, and function.
  • Ensure shop cleanliness.
  • Help other team members as needed, when needed.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Working Conditions Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds. Requires manual dexterity to operate desktop computers and related equipment. Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours) in a relatively stationary position. Regular standing, walking, and occasional climbing to inspect equipment. Use of hand tools as needed. Availability to work overtime as required. Requirements
  • High School education; Technical Training; Associates Degree; Equivalent work experience.
