Join our team today! Overview We are seeking a skilled Slitter Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating and troubleshooting manual and automatic slitting machines and will be responsible for producing high-quality materials according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

19 - 24 per hour
Hours:
1:50 PM - 10:10 PM Duties Operate slitting machines to cut materials into specified widths and lengths. Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal performance. Conduct quality inspections of finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand production requirements. Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production deadlines. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Skills Proficient in operating CNC machinery including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC laser cutting equipment. Familiarity with fabrication processes such as welding, plasma cutting, and electrical discharge machining. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in using hand tools and tooling for assembly tasks. Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and adjustments. Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles is a plus. Knowledge of quality inspection processes to ensure product standards are met. Ability to operate forklifts and cranes safely within the manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
