Personalization MHI Overview summary Summit Staffing is seeking detail-oriented and reliable Personalization Prep Associates to support customization production operations. This role is responsible for preparing products for embroidery and engraving by inspecting, cleaning, labeling, and staging items to ensure they are ready for personalization. The ideal candidate is attentive to detail, able to handle delicate materials, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining high quality standards.

•$19.00/hour Key Responsibilities Review daily work orders and prepare items according to the personalization production schedule. Inspect products such as textiles, glass, wood, and metal to ensure quality standards are met prior to customization. Clean and prepare surfaces to ensure proper embroidery or engraving results. Label, organize, and stage items accurately for the appropriate production line or machine. Assist machine operators by loading and unloading items from embroidery or engraving equipment as needed. Handle items carefully to prevent scratches, damage, or misplacement. Maintain an organized workstation and follow all quality and safety guidelines. Communicate any product defects, order discrepancies, or equipment issues to the supervisor. Support other departments as needed to meet production demands. Participate in training related to equipment operation, product handling, and quality standards. Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership to achieve productivity goals. Skills & Experience Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with delicate or high-value items. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production or warehouse environment. Good communication and teamwork skills. Strong understanding of safe handling practices and quality standards. Basic English language proficiency preferred. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Measuring tools. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in light manufacturing, warehouse, or production environments preferred. Basic computer or scanner experience. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs; heavier items with team assist or equipment. Must have visual acuity for inspecting product surfaces and reading labels. May occasionally climb, balance, kneel, or crouch while preparing items for production. This role is responsible for operating embroidery machines, laser engraving equipment, and related personalization machinery to customize a variety of products including textiles, glass, metal, and wood. The ideal candidate is attentive to detail, comfortable working with different materials, and able to maintain quality and efficiency in a fast-paced production environment.

•$21.00/hour Key Responsibilities Operate embroidery machines, laser engraving machines, and other personalization equipment safely and efficiently. Review work orders, manifests, or design instructions to ensure correct spelling, placement, and customization details. Load materials into machines, secure items properly, and prepare designs for production. Monitor machines during operation to ensure accurate stitching or engraving and adjust settings as needed. Perform basic troubleshooting and minor machine adjustments such as threading needles, changing hoops, or resetting designs. Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and defects before sending them to the next department. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation. Follow all company safety policies and production procedures. Assist with related production tasks as needed, including preparing items or packaging completed orders. Communicate any equipment issues, order discrepancies, or quality concerns to the supervisor immediately. Participate in training related to machine operation, product handling, and quality standards. Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership to achieve productivity goals.
