Quality Assurance (QA) Overview Summary Summit Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Associate to support quality control operations in a warehouse and distribution environment. This role focuses on inspecting merchandise, identifying defects, verifying product accuracy, and helping ensure products meet established quality standards before storage or shipment.

$17.00 - $19.00/hour Key Responsibilities Inspect incoming, stored, and outgoing merchandise for damage, defects, and quality concerns. Verify product descriptions, quantities, labels, and packaging against order or inventory information. Document inspection findings and report damaged, defective, or incorrect merchandise. Separate and identify products that do not meet quality standards according to site procedures. Assist with returns, rework, repackaging, and corrective actions as directed. Maintain accurate inspection records and communicate issues to supervisors and warehouse teams. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized inspection area. Support other warehouse quality and inventory tasks as assigned. Skills & Experience Previous quality inspection, warehouse, inventory, or distribution experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product damage or discrepancies. Basic computer, scanning, and documentation skills preferred. Ability to follow instructions, communicate findings, and work independently or with a team. Dependable attendance and commitment to quality and safety. Work Environment Warehouse/distribution setting with frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and handling merchandise.
