About the Position The Conformal Coat Operator is responsible for applying protective coatings to printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic assemblies. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys detailed work and takes pride in producing high-quality results. You will learn the coating process through hands-on training and work under close supervision while following established quality, safety, and production procedures. Schedule Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM-2:30 PM Overtime may extend the workday until 4:30 PM , with occasional Saturdays as needed . What You'll Do Prepare printed circuit boards and electronic assemblies for coating, including masking, cleaning, and fixture setup. Operate basic coating equipment under direction, including manual spray, dip, or automated systems. Mix and handle coating materials according to established instructions and safety procedures. Inspect coated boards using UV lighting to identify coverage issues, defects, or irregularities. Maintain accurate production and process records. Follow all safety, ESD, chemical-handling, and quality procedures . Keep work areas and equipment clean, organized, and ready for production. Communicate defects, process concerns, or equipment issues to the supervisor.
