Position SummaryThis position is responsible for punching and fabricating custom enclosers, panels and wall plates for our audio, logo panels and power distribution products.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Pull prioritized orders located in shop/setup area from order shelf.

Read technical drawing or review physical sample, identifying dimensions, layout, surface finishing, and labeling.

Tool metalwork according to drawing or layout.

Set up punches and dies correctly.

Punch, sand and form in preparation for powder coating, if needed.

Participate in training to learn all facets of the job through various resources.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), with previous on-the-job/hands-on training experience preferred.

Previous fabrication experience a plus.

Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.

Good reading and writing skills, with the desire to learn facets of the job.

Ability to work with small power tools and hand tools.

Good troubleshooting skills.

Ability to multitask.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Frequently required to stand.

Frequently required to walk.

Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.

Frequently works near moving mechanical parts.

While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate; loud.

The employee must lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
