Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Color Room team. This unique position combines technical skill, creativity, and precision to develop custom color matches for high-grade leather products used by discerning customers across multiple industries. The successful candidate will work with dyes, pigments, and specialty finishing products to create accurate color formulations that meet customer specifications and approval standards. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for color, strong attention to detail, and a desire to learn a specialized trade.
Responsibilities:
Mix dyes, pigments, and finishing materials to achieve precise color matches Develop and adjust color formulations for leather finishing applications Evaluate color accuracy and consistency against customer samples and specifications Maintain accurate records of color formulas and production batches Assist with quality control and color testing procedures Support production and color room operations as needed
Qualifications:
Excellent color perception and attention to detail Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Experience in color matching, coatings, paint, printing, textiles, leather, or related industries is preferred but not required Willingness to learn and be trained in specialized color matching techniques
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM This is an excellent opportunity to develop valuable skills in a specialized manufacturing environment while contributing to the creation of premium leather products.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
