Tinter (Lab Tech II) - Ontario, OH We are seeking a Tinter (Lab Tech II) to join our Tint/UV team in Denver, CO. This role is responsible for accurately tinting ophthalmic lenses according to work order specifications while maintaining quality, consistency, and production standards. Key Responsibilities Tint lenses according to work ticket specifications. Check lenses for proper color and intensity. Mark lenses for gradient tints and remove markings before tinting. Clean, maintain, and replace tint baths to ensure quality and consistency. Prepare tint and UV baths and monitor proper temperatures. Assist in other department areas as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred. Previous manufacturing, production, or laboratory experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to distinguish color variations. Basic math and reading skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently lift up to 20 lbs. Perform repetitive hand movements and fine motor tasks. Ability to use close vision, color vision, and depth perception. Work Environment Fast-paced production/laboratory setting. Exposure to chemicals used in the tinting process. Moderate noise levels. Overtime may be required based on business needs. Safety Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Wear required PPE, including safety glasses and closed-toe shoes.
