JOB SUMMARY

Assists in day-to-day functions of the Weld Department including but not limited to sandblasting parts and components.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Operate the sandblast machine to clean parts and components Sandblast and clean various components while standing for long periods of time Read Engineering prints/drawings/documents Identify and verify parts and materials to work order Verify accuracy of paperwork as required Periodically inspect tools and equipment for accuracy/deficiencies Ensure job orders remain with parts at all times Observe and follow all safety practices dictated by company policy Work and assist in other departments as required and perform other duties as assigned.

SKILLS REQUIRED

Ability to read Engineering prints/drawings. Ability to multi-task and prioritize. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent organization skills. Ability to lift 51lbs or more on occasion with a lifting partner. Must be punctual and reliable.
