Job Description

Solar Atmospheres is a leader in providing vacuum heat treating and brazing services of the highest possible quality. We believe in assisting our employees by providing them with guidance, a cooperative climate and training, plus a stable and growing work environment. We are currently looking for a 1st Shift Braze Technician/Operator (Monday through Friday 6:45AM to 3:15PM) to join our busy production facility in Hatfield, PA. The ideal candidates should be dependable and punctual with an excellent work ethic and a willingness to learn. Prior manufacturing or production experience preferred. However, we are willing to train motivated and mechanically inclined individuals.
Responsibilities:
Properly assemble and fixture parts for braze runs. Check dimensions against drawings and customer requirements. Maintain cleanliness and an orderly work area. Accurately assemble braze parts per drawings and/or work instructions. Inspect parts post-processing to ensure they adequately meet customer requirements. Ensure parts are properly packaged according to customer specifications and to avoid damage when shipped or delivered. Work efficiently while ensuring company quality standards are maintained. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Reliable, organized and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior manufacturing or production experience preferred. Able to lift, bend, reach and stand on a daily basis and for period of time. Ability to read and comprehend work instructions in English. Ability to read and interpret detailed component and assembly drawings. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.). Prior brazing experience preferred. (Welding, soldering experience a plus) Ability to multitask, prioritize work and overcome obstacles to obtain positive results.
