RESPONSIBILITIES

Set up and operate laser etching equipment to create required markings, lettering, and designs Calculate dimensions and select machine settings based on customer specifications Prepare tools and workpieces for processing, including cleaning and polishing as needed Position tools in designated fixtures and adjust laser head height for proper setup Run first-piece samples, make necessary setup adjustments, and obtain approval before production Inspect finished etched work for uniformity, depth, and defects using gauges, magnification, and visual/tactile checks

QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to follow detailed customer specifications and accurately measure dimensions Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and quality issues Comfort working with production equipment, hand measurements, and inspection tools Ability to prepare, position, and inspect workpieces in a precision manufacturing setting
