Monday-Thursday, 5:30 AM-4:15 PM (10-hour shifts) Job Summary MS Companies is supporting a manufacturing client in Lincoln, AL, in the search for an experienced Sandblaster. This role cleans and prepares metal parts for finishing using sandblasting equipment. The ideal candidate has hands-on media blasting experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to working safely in a manufacturing environment. Required Skills & Qualifications 2-4 years of media blasting or sandblasting experience High school diploma or GED Knowledge of blasting media and metal surface preparation techniques Mechanical aptitude and strong manual dexterity Ability to meet the physical and PPE requirements of the role Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing, automotive, or metal fabrication environment Experience using manual and power grinding tools Experience operating overhead cranes or similar material-handling equipment Strong time-management and task-prioritization skills Willingness to become forklift certified Cross-functional experience in finishing, painting, or welding Day-to-Day Responsibilities Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare metal surfaces for finishing Adjust media mixture, nozzle angle, distance, and pressure to produce consistent finishes on parts of varying shapes and sizes Inspect finished parts and report quality, material, or equipment concerns Move large parts with an overhead crane and use grinding tools as needed Follow production schedules while meeting safety and quality requirements Maintain a clean work area and participate in training or cross-training as needed Physical and Environment Requirements Stand and walk for extended periods and regularly stoop, bend, climb, and work in confined or awkward positions Perform periods of physical exertion, including lifting and moving heavy or awkward materials and equipment Wear required PPE, including a respirator or air-fed hood, for extended periods Work around temperature extremes, loud noise, fumes, dust, and other manufacturing conditions Follow all required safety procedures and PPE guidelines Company Benefits & Culture Join a safety-focused manufacturing team that values quality workmanship and dependability.
