Job Description
Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Stone Fabricator/Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw stone materials into finished products that meet precise specifications. Your expertise will contribute to creating beautiful, durable stone surfaces used in residential and commercial projects. Duties Stone cutting machines safely and efficiently to handle materials Measure, cut, shape, and finish stone surfaces according to template specifications using hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment Follow detailed and technical drawings to ensure accurate dimensional measurements and proper assembly of stone components Polish, carve, and refine stone surfaces to achieve desired finishes and aesthetic qualities Handle materials carefully, adhering to safety protocols including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) use such as respiratory protection and eye safety gear Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure proper storage of tools and materials in the warehouse or fabrication space Perform routine maintenance on machinery and report any mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime Skills Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and machining equipment for precise fabrication tasks Strong mechanical knowledge related to stone cutting, polishing, welding, and assembly processes Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, or other heavy machinery in a manufacturing or construction setting Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications accurately Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations Knowledge of safety standards in production environments including PPE adherence and safety regulations for heavy lifting and materials handling Familiarity with millwork techniques for finishing stone surfaces with high-quality polishing and detailing skills Warehouse experience or background in construction or manufacturing industries is preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during fabrication processes Join our team where craftsmanship meets innovation!
