Full Job Description Description:
With little supervision, perform hand finishing, deburring and inspection, using appropriate tooling as required. This position requires a positive attitude. Cross training is mandatory in various disciplines within the hand finish area.
Requirements:
Be familiar with all tools required for hand finish. Hand grinding various airfoil shapes to their finish contour and dimension Chamfer, radius and grind parts to blueprints and work instructions. Read and understand basic diagrams and mechanical drawings. Clean and grit blast Read, interpret and execute work instructions. Follow all company policies including safety instructions. Other related duties as assigned by the supervisor. Maintain a neat and orderly workstation and promote overall good housekeeping practices. High School Diploma/GED, or equivalent experience. 2 years' experience in component repair 2 years' experience with inspection tooling and processes Familiar with FAA part 145 Repair Stations, understands and can apply regulatory requirements (preferred) Demonstrated experience with Lean and 5S principles (preferred) The statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required of personnel so classified.
