As a Masker, you will play an important role in preparing parts according to customer specifications and drawings. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, a good communicator, and able to identify and resolve issues while maintaining a strong focus on quality and safety. Responsibilities Review work orders and tags carefully before starting each job. Identify process instructions and determine job priorities. Follow required pre-cleaning procedures for masking. Mask parts accurately and efficiently according to customer specifications and/or drawings. Record all required information accurately on work orders. Communicate with supervisors regarding discrepancies, conditions, and masking materials. Use cutting tools safely and effectively. Identify the correct sizes and types of masking materials. Attend required meetings. Wear proper protective clothing, safety shoes, and required PPE. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to read and write English. Ability to read and understand material blueprints and specifications. Basic organizational and time-management skills. Excellent attention to detail and communication skills. Ability to give and receive feedback and constructive criticism. Strong planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs. Comfortable standing and sitting throughout the work shift. Education & Experience 1-2 years of experience in the Metal Finishing Industry preferred. We're Looking for
