Metal Manufacturing Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Powder Coater for a growing metal manufacturing company in Fresno, CA. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of powder coating experience and a strong understanding of surface preparation, powder application, curing processes, and quality control. This position plays an essential role in producing high-quality finished metal products. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Prepare metal parts for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, masking, and inspecting surfaces. Apply powder coatings using electrostatic spray equipment. Operate curing ovens and monitor temperatures to ensure proper finish quality. Inspect finished products for defects, proper coverage, color consistency, and quality standards. Perform touch-ups and rework as needed. Read and follow work orders, specifications, and production schedules. Maintain powder coating equipment and work areas. Follow all safety policies and procedures while wearing required PPE. Assist with material handling and movement of parts throughout the production process Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of powder coating experience is required. Previous experience in a metal manufacturing or fabrication environment. Knowledge of powder coating techniques, equipment, and curing processes. Ability to identify and correct coating defects. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with dust, noise, and varying temperatures.
