• Buffing Operato r to join our MGP Calilper Covers/Aluminess production team. This role is responsible for removing burrs, weld marks, and surface imperfections from caliper covers after machining and welding. The Weld Finisher
• Buffing Operator helps ensure parts meet quality standards and are properly prepared for the powder coating process.

This is a hands-on manufacturing position ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working with tools and production equipment. What You'll Do Remove burrs, sharp edges, weld marks, and surface imperfections from caliper covers using buffing equipment, granite wheel machines, and other tools. Inspect parts for surface defects and confirm they meet quality standards. Smooth and prepare parts for the powder coating process. Follow work instructions and production requirements to maintain quality and efficiency. Organize completed caliper cover sets by powder coat color requirements. Package and place sets into designated boxes for transfer to the powder coating department. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Report equipment issues, quality concerns, or material shortages to supervisors. Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards. Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Previous manufacturing experience preferred. Experience using buffing equipment, grinders, or hand tools is a plus. Ability to follow instructions, work safely, and meet quality standards. Strong attention to detail and organization skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Reliable attendance and a positive attitude. Training will be provided. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to frequently use hands and arms for repetitive movements. Ability to lift and move up to 25-50 lbs. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with dust and machine noise. Why Join Us?
