As we continue to grow, we've recently expanded our capabilities by adding a new fiber laser and CNC press brake to our facility, creating exciting opportunities for employees to learn new skills and advance within the company. We are currently seeking a General Labor / Manufacturing Floater to support multiple departments throughout our manufacturing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, is mechanically inclined, and wants to build a long-term career in manufacturing. Position Summary This position will fill production gaps where additional help is needed. Depending on daily production needs, you may work in our machine shop, grinding and polishing department, or other manufacturing areas. The ideal candidate is dependable, willing to learn, and takes pride in producing high-quality work. Responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to: Operate CNC mills and other production equipment (training provided) Cut, bend, chamfer and debur metal components Grind, polish, and buff motorcycle handlebars and other steel components in preparation for chrome plating or powder coating Remove welds using belt grinders and other finishing equipment Operate specialized finishing equipment including Garboli machines, buffing machines, belt grinders, and polishing equipment Load and unload parts from production machines Inspect parts using measuring tools to verify dimensions and quality Communicate quality concerns or dimensional variances to supervisors Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Assist in other production departments as business needs require Qualifications Manufacturing, machine shop, fabrication, CNC, or metalworking experience preferred High attention to detail and commitment to quality Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds Mechanical aptitude is a plus Dependable attendance and positive attitude What We Offer Four-day work week (Monday-Thursday) Stable, full-time employment On-the-job training Opportunity to learn multiple manufacturing skills Career advancement opportunities as our company continues to grow Work with modern manufacturing equipment Benefits Benefits begin after one year of full-time employment and include: 3% company retirement match Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid vacation Paid holidays If you're looking for a long-term opportunity with a growing American manufacturer where you can develop valuable manufacturing skills and advance your career, we'd love to hear from you.
