Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:
Obtain supplies, position work and follow verbal or written instructions Operate a wide variety of presses include brake and punch Load and unload parts into presses as required Review quality of parts produced and note deviation from approved part Reports problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to supervisor Complete tasks as directed with minimum supervision Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task Perform other duties as directed that correspond to the overall function of this position Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities Desire to learn and work to the best of his/her abilities as well as dependable work ethic Follow all company rules and policies
Knowledge and Skills:
1. Adequate communication skills; verbal and written 2. Ability to read and understand written instructions
Physical Requirements:
1. Physically able to do bending, twisting, gripping, grasping and lifting 2. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. 3. Physically able to stand for up to 8 hours 4. Requires good hand-eye coordination
Education and Work Experience:
1. High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience/combined education Operate a variety of presses to the acceptable standards. Also required to perform other tasks, as assigned by their supervisor.
