Job Description
Iron Abode is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Powder Coater to join our production team. This is a hands-on position responsible for producing high-quality finishes on custom metal products that are shipped to customers across the country. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working with their hands, and understands that quality matters. Experience with powder coating is preferred, but we're willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic and a desire to learn. What You'll Do Prepare metal parts for powder coating by cleaning and inspecting surfaces. Apply powder coatings evenly and consistently using professional spray equipment. Operate curing ovens and monitor temperatures and cure times. Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet Iron Abode's quality standards. Touch up or rework parts when necessary. Maintain powder coating equipment and keep the booth and work area clean and organized. Safely handle powders, chemicals, and equipment while following all safety procedures. Work with the production team to prioritize jobs and meet daily production goals. Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency and quality. What We're Looking For Experience powder coating Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work. Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality. Reliable attendance and a positive attitude. Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills. Team player who communicates well and contributes to a positive work environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with powder coating, paint application, or metal finishing. Familiarity with spray equipment and curing ovens.
